Green Desk Sets

Choosing a green desk set

Every set in this collection has its own green product page and is faux leather; none is genuine leather. Each pairs a desk pad with matching green office desk accessories. Every green here is dark, but the families differ in undertone and texture, so settle the finish first and the size second.

Which green: the finish by family

• Luna and Cloud: dark green with mottling. It is black and cloud-like on the Cloud 10; on the Luna sets it varies from black mottling (Luna 4) and light crackle veining (Luna 5 and 8) to cloud-like mottling (Luna 9 and 10).
• Vega: dark teal-green with a mottled texture and white contrast stitching.
• Elegance: dark teal-green with a crackle-veined texture on the Elegance 11; dark green with darker, cloud-like mottling on the Elegance 12.
• Star: a dark petrol green that leans toward teal.

For a dark green desk set without a teal cast, start with Luna, Cloud and the Elegance 12. Compare the product photos before you order. For turquoise instead of a dark teal-green, see the turquoise desk sets, all Luna sets of four to ten pieces.

Compact or executive

The green compact desk sets are the Luna 4, 5, 8 and 9 and the Vega 4 and 9: four to nine pieces on the 13.4 × 18.9 in (34 × 48 cm) desk pad. Executive desk sets start at ten pieces. The Luna 10, Vega 12 and Cloud 10 keep that pad; for a green executive desk set on the larger 15.0 × 22.8 in (38 × 58 cm) pad, look at the Star and Elegance sets.

One green option is missing from the grid: the Vega 14-Piece Desk Set with Nameplate has no green page of its own. Choose Green on the Vega 14-piece set in black and check the photo, which shows a dark blue-teal.

Green sets with a nameplate

The green sets that include a personalized nameplate are the Luna 8, 9 and 10, the Vega 12 and every Star and Elegance set. The Luna 4 and 5, the Vega 4 and 9 and the Cloud 10 have none. A name of up to 32 characters and an optional title of up to 36 are printed on a gold or silver metal plate; the text is not engraved. The color guide lists green with the gold plate: gold with green gives a traditional study look. The guide says the same of burgundy; see the burgundy desk sets.

Where green works

Our guide on how to choose a desk set color treats green as a statement color that looks at home next to wood, books and brass-toned lamps. It is a safe choice on medium wood and a bolder one on dark or light wood, and where the desk and floor are wood in two different tones it usually sits between them more comfortably than a third brown. To blend with a wood desk instead, brown desk sets are the warmer, more traditional option; black desk sets work with nearly every desk finish.

Lining, flags and what is not included

Storage interiors are velvet-lined on the Luna, Cloud and Star sets and the Elegance 11, and lined with faux leather on the Vega sets. On the Elegance 12 you type the flag you want in the Desk flag box on its product page. Paper, calendar sheets and clock batteries are not included. For cleaning, see materials and care.
