Burgundy by family

What each family puts on the desk

• Venus: a matching mouse pad and three coasters in every set. The Venus 13 has a desk flag on a pole and the Venus 14 two desk flags; you type which flag you would like, up to 40 characters.
• Vega 14: a two-tier document tray, a calendar holder and a tissue holder.
• Cloud 10: a two-tier document tray, and a two-pen stand where the other sets have a nameplate.
• Prestige 14: a large desk clock, an A5 notepad holder, a tissue holder and a two-tier document tray.

Paper, calendar sheets and the clock battery are not included.

Wood veneer or faux leather

The Venus, Vega and Cloud sets are faux leather. The Prestige is the wood option: wood veneer, a thin layer of real wood, with faux leather components. It is not solid wood. You will also find it under wood veneer desk sets.

A smaller set, or single burgundy desk accessories

There is no ready-made compact set in burgundy. Dark wood, gray desks and a gold plate

The desk set color guide describes burgundy as a deep wine red that looks rich against dark wood. It lists the color as a safe choice on a dark wood desk and a bolder one on medium wood or on a gray or metal desk. The Venus 12 product page makes a similar point: burgundy adds warmth to a dark desk without looking bright. For the nameplate, the guide pairs burgundy with the gold plate, a combination it says gives a traditional study look. The name and optional title are printed on that plate, not engraved; silver is the other option.

Care, coasters and other colors
