Pink Desk Sets

Choosing a pink desk set

The sets above are matching pink office desk accessories, all from the Luna family. Each uses the 13.4 × 18.9 in (34 × 48 cm) desk pad and has velvet-lined storage interiors. What changes is the piece count, whether a nameplate is included and, slightly, the pink itself.

Matte pink, bright pink or rose pink

The product pages do not describe one identical pink. The Luna 4 is a smooth, matte pink and the Luna 5 a bright, smooth one. The Luna 8, the Luna 9 and the Luna 10 with a single tray are a bright pink with rose-gold-tone pens or fittings. The Luna 10 with the two-tier tray is a bright rose pink with a beige lining. If the exact shade matters, compare the photos of the sets you are deciding between.

The pink sets side by side

From the Luna 5 to the Luna 9, each set keeps the pieces of the one before it, and each Luna 10 is the Luna 9 plus a document tray. For a pink desk organizer set that also holds loose paper, choose one of the two ten-piece sets. The memo holder comes without paper.

Pink desk accessories one piece at a time

Ready-made, pink stops at Luna. In Build Your Desk Set the color step also lists pink for Vega, Star, Elegance, Galaxy, Venus, Chester and Genesis, our genuine leather model. You choose a model, add only the pieces you want and apply one color to all of them. There is no minimum, so you can order one pink Pen Cup, one Phone Stand or a Personalized Nameplate with Two Pens on its own. In the tool a pen holder is the Pen Cup and a letter tray is the Single or Two-Tier Document Tray; our page on desk accessories by the piece goes through the piece types. Cloud, Prestige and Pulsar have shorter color lists without pink, and Vesta comes in black.

Pink on white, light wood and glass desks

Our desk set color guide groups pink with the playful shades: colors for a home office, a creative studio or anyone who enjoys seeing a favorite color every day. It says these shades work best against a white or light desk, and its desk-finish table names pink among the bolder choices for a white desk, light wood and glass. The other two playful shades come in the same Luna sets: see orange desk sets and turquoise desk sets. For a calmer look in a bright room, white desk sets come in the same Luna sizes and in other families.

Which plate goes with pink

From the Luna 8 up, the set includes a nameplate. Your name (up to 32 characters) and an optional title (up to 36) are printed on a gold or silver metal plate, not engraved, in one of eight fonts. The color guide says pink takes either and suggests letting the other metals in the room decide, such as a lamp base, door handles or picture frames. The nameplate guide has wording examples.

Cleaning and coasters

Dust the pieces with a soft, dry cloth and wipe a light mark with a soft, slightly damp one, then dry. Every pink set includes a coaster, so cups and glasses have a place off the pad. More on cleaning is on the materials and care page. To see pink desk sets next to every other color, open all desk sets.
