Orange Desk Sets

Choosing an orange desk set

The orange desk sets above are not one flat color, so compare the finish before you count pieces. All of these are Luna sets: matching orange office desk accessories with velvet-lined storage interiors, on the 13.4 × 18.9 in (34 × 48 cm) desk pad.

Orange finishes, as the product pages describe them

Four, five, eight, nine or ten pieces

• Desk basics: four pieces on the Luna 4 (desk pad, pen cup, memo holder, coaster) and five on the Luna 5, which has a business card holder as well. Neither includes a nameplate or pens.
• With your name: the Luna 8 brings the personalized nameplate base with its two ballpoint pens; the Luna 9 puts a phone stand next to them.
• With a tray: both Luna 10 sets give the Luna 9 a document tray, one a single tray and one a two-tier tray. These two are the executive desk sets in orange.

Orange desk accessories in faux leather, and a genuine leather option

These are orange leather-look desk accessories, not genuine leather ones: the Material line on each product page above reads Faux leather, which also places every orange set among the faux leather desk sets. For orange in genuine leather, use Build Your Desk Set, where Genesis, our genuine leather model, has orange in its color list. The same tool offers orange for the faux leather models Luna, Vega, Star, Elegance, Galaxy, Venus and Chester. Pieces go in one at a time and a single piece is a valid order; each piece shows its own price in the tool.

Orange on a white or glass desk

In our guide to choosing a desk set color, orange sits among the playful shades and is listed as a bolder choice for a white desk and for a glass desk. Bolder choices, in the guide's terms, make the set a feature of the desk rather than letting it blend in. The guide also suggests repeating a color that already appears in the room, in a chair, a rug, the curtains or a piece of artwork. Pink desk sets are in the same playful group and come in the same Luna sets. To blend with a wood desk instead, look at brown desk sets; for the boldest accent among the guide's statement colors, see red desk sets.

Nameplate on the orange Luna 8, 9 and 10

The nameplate is a base with a metal plate that carries your text. The name can run to 32 characters; a title is optional and can run to 36. It is printed, not engraved, exactly as you type it, so check spelling and capital letters. Gold or silver is your choice; the color guide lists orange among the colors that take either.

Cleaning and other colors

Wipe orange faux leather with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry it; keep it away from excess moisture and anything abrasive. More detail is on the care page, and every other color is under all desk sets.
