Personalized Desk Name Plates
A personalized desk name plate from Luxury Desk Set is a nameplate base that carries a metal plate printed with your name and, if you add one, a title. You can order a single custom desk name plate through Build Your Desk Set, where the nameplate is sold as its own piece, or get one as part of a matching desk set.
What a desk name plate includes
You get a complete unit, not a loose plate: the nameplate base and a gold or silver metal plate with your text printed on it. The tool spells it nameplate, one word. What else comes with it depends on the model:
- With two pens: on Luna, Vega, Star, Prestige, Elegance, Galaxy, Pulsar and Venus the nameplate comes as one unit with two ballpoint pens. If you searched for a desk name plate with a pen holder, this is the closest piece; the pen cup is a separate piece on each of these models.
- With a business card holder: both Vesta units have a business card slot on the back of the nameplate and come with one or two ballpoint pens.
- With a clock: on Chester a clock is attached to the nameplate, and the unit includes two ballpoint pens. The clock battery is not included.
- Nameplate only: on Genesis, our genuine leather model, the nameplate comes on its base without pens. The pens belong to a separate piece, the Pen Stand with Two Pens.
Cloud has no nameplate piece. Pens come only as part of a unit; they are not sold separately.
Choose a model for your name plate
Every nameplate belongs to a model, a family of matching pieces. Each model name in the table opens the tool on that model, where each piece shows its own price.

The model also decides the colors. Luna, Vega, Star, Elegance, Galaxy, Venus, Chester and Genesis offer the full color range, from black, brown and gray to pink, turquoise and burgundy. Prestige and Pulsar have a shorter list, and Vesta comes in black.

What you can put on a custom desk name plate
A plate has one line for the name, one for an optional title, and two style choices:
- Name: required, up to 32 characters.
- Title: optional, up to 36 characters.
- Font: Montserrat, Instrument Sans, Lora, Playfair Display, Cinzel, Marcellus, Great Vibes or Allura.
- Plate: gold or silver, whatever the color of the piece.
The text is printed on the metal plate, not engraved, and produced as typed, so a typing mistake or a missing capital letter is printed too. The preview in the tool is approximate: use it to judge the font and the plate color, and proofread in the text boxes. Personalizing adds nothing to the price of the nameplate piece.

How to order a single name plate
One name plate is a complete order: the tool sets no minimum, and a desk pad is optional.
- Choose a model. Open the desk set builder, or use a model link in the table above.
- Choose your pieces. Set the nameplate piece to a quantity of one and leave the other pieces at zero.
- Choose a color. One color applies to the set; Vesta comes in black only.
- Personalize your nameplates. Type the name and an optional title, then pick a font and a gold or silver plate. The piece cannot go into your cart without a name.
- Review your set. Check the name, title, font and plate, then select "Add all sets to cart".

A name plate on its own, or a desk set with a nameplate
Order the nameplate on its own when the desk already has what it needs, or when a name or title has changed.
Most of our ready-made desk sets include a nameplate, with the same character limits, fonts and plate colors. A set has fixed contents and one set price; in the tool each piece is priced on its own. To furnish a whole desk, start with the desk sets with a personalized nameplate.

Office name plates for a team
Several name plates can go in one order, each with its own text. In step 2, set the nameplate piece to the number you need; step 4 then shows a card for each, with its own name, title, font and plate. To keep one font and plate for the whole team, fill in the first card, select "Apply these details to all nameplates in this set", then change the name and title on the others.
All nameplates in one set share a model and a color. For a second model or color, or for more nameplates than one set takes, choose "Add another set"; all sets go to your cart together.
The tool accepts text only. Logo printing, custom sizes and custom models are offered on request for corporate and larger orders: write to us through the contact page with the models, colors and quantities you need. Desk name plate FAQ
Is the text engraved, or is it printed on the plate?
It is printed. The text goes onto a metal plate that is fixed to the nameplate base; it is not engraved. To look after it, wipe the plate with a soft cloth and do not scrub the printed text. See materials and care for the rest.
What color choices are there?
Two: the color of the piece, from the model's list in the tool, and a gold or silver plate. For a gold desk name plate, choose the gold plate with any color of the piece.
Can I change the text after ordering?
Until you check out, "Edit set" in your cart reopens the set in the tool. After you order, contact us right away with your order number and the corrected text. We can change the nameplate text until the order has shipped; after that it cannot be changed.
Does the name plate come with pens?
On most models, yes: two ballpoint pens are part of the unit. Vesta has one or two, Chester two and a clock, and the Genesis nameplate none.
